The podcast directory Podseek.net has awarded their first ever excellence in podcasting award. The award recognizes Internet broadcasters that take their audio or video podcast to a level above the rest.

Sure anybody can hook up their microphone to their PC and start talking about anything. But those that take their broadcast serious put a lot of time and effort into producing a quality production all to listen to. This award is to recognize these individuals and to put them into the spotlight, and to spotlight their work.
